Malibu Hindu Temple Begins Live streaming of Aarthi

The Malibu Hindu Temple is very pleased to announce that starting this Saturday, April 25, 2020, the Temple will livestream the abhishekam and maha aarti for Lord Venkateswara at 10 AM and 12 PM PST respectively, both on Saturday and Sunday. The Temple will also stream abhishekam and aarathi for Lord Shiva at 11 AM PST also on Saturday and Sunday. The weekly schedule of the livestreaming is as follows:

1. Go to the Temple website: www.malibuhindutemple.org
2. Scroll down on the Home Page and Click the “Live Aarathi” button. 

NOTE: If the streaming is interrupted at any time, please REFRESH your browser. 

The Malibu Hindu Temple worked very hard to bring fiber optic internet connection to the Temple because the current location of the Temple is not served by any internet provider. We are very grateful to AT&T for treating the streaming of the religious services as a coronavirus related need to serve our community. We acknowledge with deep gratitude the volunteer services of Mr. Akash Aurora of ideaTree Inc., Mr. Hamir Bhatia of Ashunya Inc., and countless other volunteers.

Malibu Hindu Temple Launches Coronavirus Relief Fund

The Temple, like many other institutions, is experiencing hardship caused as a result of the temporary closure of the Temple starting from March 17, 2020 for an indefinite period of time until the Safer at Home order issued by the State of California and City of Los Angeles are lifted. We appreciate generous donations to help our Temple to tide over this difficult time in the history of the Temple. As I announced in my previous e-mail, I pledged a personal donation of $10,000 to launch the relief fund.

Please follow the instructions below to make a donation to the Temple:

1. Go to the Temple website: www.malibuhindutemple.org
2. Scroll down the Home Page and click on “Coronavirus Relief Fund” 
3. Choose one of the suggested donation amounts or click “Other Amount” to enter any donation amount. Type your name and e-mail address and click “Donate”.
4. Enter your credit card or debit card information in the payment page and click Submit.

NOTE: After submitting a donation, there will be a donation receipt automatically generated by the website. Please keep a copy of this Donation Receipt for your own records. You will also receive a copy of this Donation Receipt by e-mail. 

You can be rest assured that we will bring the same integrity and accountability of these funds that we have done for the past two years. We are disciplined and dedicated to ensure that each employee of the Temple takes personal responsibility to ensure that the funds received by the Temple are used only for the purposes of the Malibu Hindu Temple.
